r.i.p. trucker

One of the coolest things about visiting the beach almost every day is seeing all the different kinds of dogs and meeting other dog lovers. But now that I’ve been a member of the Dog Beach community for 5 years or so, I also feel the sadness when yet another doggie pass away.

Trucker was diagnosed with cancer awhile ago, but then seemed to be just fine. Then, the nasty cancer came back with a vengeance, and Molly & Al had to say goodbye to her yesterday. This is the 2nd time Molly & Al have gone through this in just over 6 months (see Katie).

Katie and Trucker were one of the first dogs I met at the beach, being there every morning, too. They’ll both be missed.

Trucker (in sharp focus) patiently waits for “Charlie Bears” with Tempest (left), Mila (background) and Bonnie (foreground).

Its hard to lose them from Earth, but they'll meet Trucker again at the Bridge. Our prayers go to Trucker and his family.

Thanks Jen. We appreciate the tribute to Trucker. She was a sweet dog who loved people and we will miss her very much. They leave a big hole in our lives when they go…

Jen thanks for posting this, I've been away from dog beach for a few months but I do remember Trucker. I'm so sorry for Molly & Al, to lose 2 dogs so close together has got to be hard. Lot's of love to you during this time.. Kimberly .. 🙂
